Winter tires

	Winter tires abroad

Winter tires in Denmark.

Usually the Danish winter is quite mild and normally there is only a few days during each season where winter tires are needed. But of course longer periods with frost and the risk of snow may occur. See the guidelines from the Danish Goverment Agency for Traffic here

If travelling to Sweden or Norway winter tires are mandatory by law. Germany has special rules. For more information on the individual countries' rules see here

BookCar can supply cars with winter tires in the period 1 November – 15 March.

We have chosen to focus the fitting of winter tires to one car group, group F (Ford Focus stationcar or similar). This is a medium sized vehicles that covers most needs.
The charge for winter tires on this car group is:
Per day DKK 50, but max DKK 900 per month.

Bookcar offers winter tires on other car groups as well, but always on request. See more here
The charge for winter tires on these other car groups is:
1-10 days DKK 1,575, 11-30 days DKK 2,200. All including 25% VAT.

Booking of winter tires must be made when booking the vehicles, and no later than 5 work days before the start of the rental period. We can not guarantee winter tires that are requested later than this.

NB: Winter tires can not be booked online. Please book via phone or email.

Winter tires or none - please always remember to drive according to weather conditions. Especially during winter it is always a good idea to check the weather forecast and the many daily traffic reports.
